Takuya Enoki has lost her mother (Yukako) in a car accident. Takuya was living with his family remaining: Harumi, the father and Minoru, his little brother who just two years old. Takuya took over the job of his mother, cooking, washing, sewing and of course, take care of Minoru. Takuya new sitting in 5th grade felt jealous. He saw a big difference between him and his friends who always seem to have some fun after school ends. While Takuya must take care of house work and take care of his brother.
